We knew this day would come. We thought it would be about 3 months down the line… but we still knew it would come. I put the shout out at church for a twin bed and was contacted by just about the sweetest little old lady you ever did meet. She let me know that her mother had recently passed away at 103 (a 103!) and she was in the process of putting all of her belongings in storage and just so happened to have a nice little twin bed. I happily accepted and was very pleased to not only receive a great twin bed, but a super awesome vintage headboard to boot. Score and score! And a big HUGE thank you!
We just HAD to buy the cars sheets. And then we just HAD to buy the cars bed tent. Because what little kid doesn’t just HAVE to have a bed tent?!? I’m pretty sure I never would have left my bed if I’d had a super awesome bed tent on it.
The tent lasted all of 1 day before the tiny string that miraculously held it all together broke, go figure. In it’s defense it does say very plainly on the box Ages 3 and up. Because maybe a three year old can avoid tripping on the tiny string better than a hyperactive two year old? Maybe? Either way I’ll savage it the best I can and we’ll keep it as a floor tent.
