Cheesey, Bacony Awesome Potatoes
Adapted from that one quick verbal conversation about the breakfast potatoes.
Serves 2-4
Ingredients:
1 Small pkg of red potatoes
1 1/2- 2 Cups of cheese – I used a 3 cheese blend from Trader Joe’s
4-5 slices of bacon – mostly cooked & cut into pieces
Some garlic olive oil
A bit of rosemary
A good bit of red pepper flakes – because these and bacon make the world go round.
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425*. Cut the potatoes into bite size pieces and place in a brownie pan (9×9?). Coat to your liking with garlic olive oil, just not too much because of the cheese. Sprinkle with rosemary, salt & pepper & red pepper flakes. Cover with bacon and cheese.
Bake at 425* for 45-55 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
Eat.
Enjoy!

Awesome steak marinade. Boom!
Adapted from that photocopied, typed out version from the Darsow Family.
1 tsp. Ground Coriander
1 tsp. Ground Caraway
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
2 Tbls. Brown Sugar, packed
1 Tbls. Lemon Juice
1 Tbls. Soy Sauce
Mix together in a bowl, then pour/scrape into a plastic bag and allow your steaks to marinade over night. Covers 2 steaks quite well. Feel free to double the recipe if you like your marinade strong and/or your steaks borderline too salty.
*Also works well with flank Steak. I recommend doubling the recipe for larger cuts.
**Also works well in a slow cooker. I recommend at least doubling the recipe, depending on the size of your roast/flank steak. And cooking with Potatoes, Carrots & Onions.

P.S. Did you try out the Pasta from last week? How did yours turn out?
Truth – We’re having ours tonight. Things got a little crah-zay around here last week, but I am super excited to try them out tonight!
