The Q-man is 16 months old. 16 months! Where ever does the time go?
He’s growing a foot a day I tell ya, okay that might be just a tad on the exaggerated side but seriously, like a weed this kid is growing. He’s a good eater and a good sippy cup sipper and an excellent walker. He only bangs his head in rare cases. Like when he’s holding a piece of sidewalk chalk in each hand and trips and doesn’t want to sacrifice the chalk so instead he stops himself with his face. But besides that he’s a super-duper walker. I give him an A+ for sure.
But the veggies. This kid only kinda likes the veggies but only on certain days. Like last Friday I tried to give him carrots but apparently it was a green bean day, and today was a pea day not a green bean day. He might be just a bit moody with his veggies.
But I happened upon a solution to the moody veggie dilemma. A friend of mine was feeding her baby a tube and I was thinking, isn’t that interesting, it’s like a sippy tube for cool dudes. And she said ‘they’re veggies in a tub, and he LURVES them’ and I was like ‘Whaaaat’? So when I ran to Target for like the millionth time this past weekend I walked past the row that housed such tubes of veggies and grabbed a handful, or two. And guess what? Q-tip LURVES them too!
And I was like that’s just Cray Cray that my moody veggie man loves veggies in a tube. With such flavors as Butternut Squash and Apples, or Spinach, Mango and Pears. Those do not sound tasty tasty to me, but I’m most certainly NOT going to question of the Q-man and his superior tasty buds.
