Meal planning…. yup, that’s what’s going on around these parts.
But why can’t I just have Café Rio every night – I ask myself. Well, for one thing there are NO Café Rio’s in NorCal, a shame really. And B, I’m no longer nursing and burning a million calories an hour, dang it.
But I did talk Eric into driving twenty minutes out of the way so I could grab some tasty Rio while we were down in Anaheim. And dang it was good! And you should so go try some and then send some more to me, k?
…but back to meal planning.
I have to admit, I was better at it last year than I have been this year, why is that? Luckily, it’s a new year with all sorts of possibilities to explore! Like maybe finally buying a new sofa – *maniacal laugh* – or finally sprucing up my poor wardrobe, or hey even adding a new little one to the mix?… you never know.
Just for you awesome dudes, I created a cute little printable menu planner (teaser above). I must really like you or something! I know it always helps me to keep things in one special spot, and a menu with an accompanying shopping list is, well one cool little spot. Hey, thanks for the idea Casey!
