One of my fave things this time of year are the xmas cards.
I love creating ours and I especially love getting everyone else’s in the mail.
My giant mirror is covered head to toe with photo cards, classic cards, post cards… all kinds of cards.
It really adds to the Christmas spirit in our house.
Mostly, it’s because they’re one of the only ‘decorations’ that I put up, besides the tree.
Sad, but true.
This year I wanted to make it easy for ya’ll to get your cards out in style, so I pulled together this little beauty for you.

• Instructions •
1. Open the PSD template and your image.
2. Highlight the layer in the layers palette called “Place __ Image”. Go to FILE… PLACE… and choose the image you want to place in that spot. Resize and move around to fit properly.
OR Click/Highlight the layer called “Place Photo” in your layers palette. Drag your open image onto your PSD. (the photo should now be below the “Place Photo” layer) While holding the shift key (pc) or control key (mac), resize your photo to fit within the frame. (Edit-> free transform)
*MAKE SURE THE PHOTO LAYER IS NOW BELOW THE ‘PLACE … PHOTO HERE’ LAYER.*
3. Flatten and resize to fit your needs… IMAGE…IMAGE SIZE.
