Day 9
A moment in your day
This mornings brisk weather was just enough to keep everyone but us away from park day today. It was at our ‘regular’ park so we felt right at home, just minus a few friends, but as my silly billy Quinn came walking toward me with his ‘eyes closed’ I had this sudden sense of urgency to get this boy into a play school.
He’s just so darn active, and no matter how many activities I plan for him or do with him I just have the feeling that he’s missing out. That maybe he would listen better if it weren’t coming from me, or maybe I’m just being too critical… either way, we are on the official hunt for play school playmates and their super awesomely involved mama’s who want to get together once or twice a week (Tuesdays? and/or Thursdays?) to do a little lesson and a whole lot of play.
The good thing about this brisk weather? The lovely patches of mud everywhere.
I feel a mud pie making day coming on.
