Before Thanksgiving, which now feels like a million years ago, my eyes wandered the pages of Lonny Magazine’s latest and danced for joy at all the pretty colors and design-y things. These eyes truly love design-y things. They sometimes make my feet wander into stores that are full of nick-knacks and babbles and things that I seriously have no space for in my tiny little duplex, but that I seriously wish I did have room for.
My eyes love the color blue, perhaps because they themselves are blue and are therefore partial to this moody, broody color. But sometimes they fall in love with pink. Very rarely with great spaces in-between, but on this particular day they fell in love with this pretty muted lip-gloss, bubble gum pink. Maybe it’s the wet look, or the way the light hits it just so. But maybe it was really my stomach that fell in love with it, since it looks so gosh-darn edible.
I think if I had room on my already overflowing bookshelves for any more nick-nacks that I would have this super awesome dragon/dog dude. I wonder what kinds of things are hiding in his well protected box?
