Oh my, where to start?!? I got in around 6:00am Monday morning, which was 9:00am on Sunday back in Cali (weird huh?!?). Called a town car which brought me directly to my hotel right in the middle of downtown Auckland. Apparently I can sleep anywhere so long as its dark, and thanks to my sister for her lovely travel kit birthday present my eye mask did just the trick. I slept 8 hours on the plane. 8 hours!!! Can you believe that?!? I hit the ground running so the gal I’m here working with called me up and off we went to visit the office sites and work like busy bees. Naturally we took a bit of time last night to enjoy the food and the beautiful scenery.
We found this great little Italian restaurant in Parnell, Non Solo Pizza, and ate our little hearts out. It was deliciously salty and full of garlic. Yum!
I’m off to explore some more… wish me luck!
