It’s Wednesday David!
The Hubs and I had our weekly date night last night so I tried to actually dress up a bit.
We don’t usually do anything fancy, dinner and a movie, or a walk along the pier,
or even just sit and chat, you know grown up stuff that’s
difficult to do with a toddler climbing all over you.
Last night we went and saw John Carter and may I just say I L.O.V.E.D. it!
Whomever was in charge of marketing that movie needs to be shot because they screwed up big time.
If you even kinda sorta liked Superman or Star Wars or even Thor then
you will love this movie too. I did a bit of reading up on it – aka I listened to
what my sister says she read about it – and apparently it was the predecessor
to any and all Sci-fi in the world. Everything that we know and love
about the Sci-Fi world was borrowed or spawned from these books (11 in total).
And apparently the first 5 books are free to download on Amazon for all you e-reader peeps out there. Holla!
