Happy Monday!
How was your Mother’s day weekend? Did you remember to dote on your mother/wife and make her day special? I sure hope so, for all our sakes. You don’t want to mess with ‘the hand that feeds you’ as the saying goes. (wow, that was rather generalist of you Kelly. This coming from the woman who had issues when the church handed out cooking mitts last Mother’s day.)
I was reading Simple Mom a week or so ago and was very inspired by her entry about writing out an editorial plan. It made me step back and really evaluate the ‘guts’ of my blog, and I finally realized, I was seriously lacking.
Sadness.
But it’s okay, because I have a plan!

I took the time during my hour shuttle ride down to work this morning to write out a set of themes. I even broke it out further and assigned certain themes to certain days. This should help keep me on track and help me find that ‘balance’ I’ve been searching for. So today I would like to introduce the ‘Kick-off Color’ Monday theme.

As you’ve probably guessed, today’s color is Pink. Every spring I see these amazing pink colors pop up everywhere and I fall suddenly and madly in LOVE with pink. Then summer rolls around I get a quick salt water splash to the face and realize, I’m really not a huge fan of pink. Which is odd, because I really do like it. It must stem from my ‘no Barbie’ childhood. Funny story… maybe for another day.
