The Father’s and Son’s outing for church was this weekend. Open to all ages and stages, and I somehow managed to talk Eric into taking Quinn. They only stayed Friday evening  but it was a glorious kick off to the Mother’s day weekend. More on that later…
Chocolate face. #masterquinn #kids
Saturday Q-tip and I went to Concord with Eric – who had three patients to see that morning! Wahoo!!! – and hung out with my sister all morning. A TV show for the Q dude, a nice walk around downtown and then a delicious lunch at Buckhorn Grill. – Flatbread with Greek salad and Sliced Tri-tip. We topped it all off with a quick stop into the See’s Candies store for a chocolate loli-pop which Master Quinton enjoyed to the last lick and smeared all over his adorable face.
Happy mother's day!!!
Sunday was emotional on so many levels. A delicious breakfast with my two main men, a few relaxing moments to practice my knitting and then the crazy get-ready-for-church-while-keeping-Quinn-awake began. This year at church the bishopric gave all the women an adorable bag full of See’s & Ghiradelli chocolate. (Unlike last year’s oven-mit which I found rather insulting on soooo many levels…)
We ended the day at my MIL’s letting the boys do all the cooking and prep while us ladies sat in the living room and chatted. (I will admit, I had a hard time just sitting around while the boys got to ‘do’. If you can’t tell, I’m not much for sitting and waiting, I’m definitely a do-er. But I am certainly not complaining over it.) Thanks for the wonderful Mommy’s day, Boys!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend.
And now,
Happy Monday!
