How do you feel about open shelves in the kitchen? I love the idea of it, and if I had more drawer space or maybe didn’t have bottles and nipples, and all those fun little baby feeding items to worry about, I might be inclined to jump on-board. Although those could make for a funky
look in themselves. Maybe keep all the bottle bits in a mason jar or something of the like…?
I do have lovely white Pottery Barn dishes (thanks to my awesome brother and sis-in-law) that would look stunning on crisp white shelves like these. Perhaps someday, when the kitchen is larger than a mudroom and grease doesn’t settle on every solid surface when I cook up some tasty bacon.
I do love that funky bread box in the corner of this photo. But I worry about it sitting in the window like that. It appears to made out of tin and tin warms up all nice and toasty when left in a sunny window. This doesn’t seem like a wise placement for a tasty bread box to me.
