The two new loves of my life.
The weekends need to be twice as long, I swear.
The amazing mother-in-law had a crazy idea; that I should sing in the women’s choir for Stake Conference.
She planned and she schemed and she talked me into it by offering to hold my newbies while giving me a hot minute of real live woman time.
I haven’t had the chance to sing with the choir since Quinn was born. Ya know, the whole baby watching deal-e-oh and all.
But when someone offers you free baby care with lots of hugs and kisses and awesome grandma time. You just gotta take it and run.
My thoughts? I just hope I sounded okay.
I’ve been in women’s choirs before. High School, College, Church…
But I still. Always. Worry that I sound like a scratchy so-and-so.
Our fears keep us humble I suppose.
